Se trata de una variante del phising en la que, en vez de enviarte un correo electrónico, lo que hacen es aprovechar una vulnerabilidad en la página web real de la empresa para poner un enlace a su página web fraudulenta.
Si estás navegando por una página web y al pulsar sobre un vínculo, te lleva a una dirección web que no tiene como raíz la de la empresa, sospecha.
Oportunidades de negocio
Es similar a la anterior, pero en vez de ofrecerte un empleo, te ofrecen invertir en una empresa o en un producto o incluso la opción de montar una franquicia, para la que antes debes desembolsar un dinero en concepto de material o trámites.
También existe una variante en la que se te promete compartir contigo un método infalible para ganar mucho dinero en poco tiempo. En ese caso, normalmente ellos ganan comisiones por cada engaño y tu, o no consigues nada o acabas perdiendo dinero.
Cartas nigerianas
Esta estafa es muy conocida y tiene diferentes variantes, pero todas pretenden lo mismo: conseguir dinero de la víctima haciéndole pensar que va a recibir una cantidad millonaria de dinero pero sólo si paga con los gastos de envío o gestión.
Para ello, utilizan argumentos como que has ganado la lotería, que vas a recibir una herencia o que para obtener dinero de una inversión necesitan transferir a otra persona y por la que ganarás un porcentaje si aceptas.

Errores que no debes cometer al comprar tu primera casa
No hacer las cuentas adecuadas, dejarse llevar a la hora de contratar la hipoteca u olvidar algunas preguntas básicas son algunos de los errores que debes evitar si estás pensando en comprar casa por primera vez.
Antes de tomar una decisión tan relevante, se estima que cada consumidor dedica seis meses a analizar sus posibilidades reales de compra, tal y como afirma un informe de la red Alfa Inmobiliaria. Sin embargo, eso no evita que nadie esté libre de pecado. Por eso, Kelisto elaboró un listado con los errores más graves que deberías evitar si estás pensando en comprar una vivienda, sobre todo si es la primera:
Pensar que tu única opción es comprar
La expresión popular de que “rentar es tirar el dinero” nunca se debe tomar como una norma general. Ni rentar es la opción ideal para todos los bolsillos, ni comprar tampoco. Pese a que adquirir una casa te permitirá destinar un dinero cada mes para conseguir que, finalmente, la vivienda en la que vives sea tuya, recuerda que convertirte en propietario tiene unos gastos añadidos que normalmente no tendrás con la renta: los seguros y otros productos vinculados a la hipoteca, los impuestos municipales, etc.
Por tanto, antes de saber lo que más te conviene, echa cuentas, analiza tu situación y, solo con la calculadora y el papel en la mano, decide cuál es la mejor opción para tu bolsillo.
No calcular el coste real de comprar una casa
Antes de adquirir una vivienda, debes recordar que tendrás que afrontar varios gastos. Los principales son el propio coste del inmueble, los impuestos y gastos de tramitación, y los intereses que tendrás que pagar al banco si decides pedir una hipoteca. Tal y como menciona Kelisto, deberías contar con unos ahorros equivalentes al 30% del valor de la casa que quieras comprar para que tus cuentas cuadren.
Aceptar lo que te presten
Ante cualquier decisión que afecte a tus finanzas personales, eres tú quien debe llevar las riendas de la operación y el responsable de hacer números para tomar una decisión correcta. Por tanto, antes de pedir una hipoteca, haz los deberes en casa y no dejes que nadie decida por ti. Como sabes, lo recomendable es no solicitar al banco más del 80% del valor de una vivienda, pero siempre debes hacer números para saber si, en tu caso, puedes permitirte un endeudamiento mayor.
No analizar adecuadamente la zona donde quieres comprar
Antes de comprar una casa, debes analizar pormenorizadamente las zonas que más te gusten. Para ello, haz visitas en distintos momentos del día y chequea pormenorizadamente cuestiones como los servicios disponibles (comercios, transportes, escuelas, hospitales, etc.).
No hacer las preguntas adecuadas al vendedor
A la hora de visitar los inmuebles que más te interesen, lleva contigo un listado de preguntas básicas y no dejes que comentar al vendedor cualquier otra duda que te pueda surgir.
Por ejemplo: ¿Cuántas visitas ha tenido la casa? ¿Y ofertas?, ¿Cuánto tiempo lleva en el mercado?, ¿Puedo ver las últimas revisiones de la instalación eléctrica y del gas?, ¿Ha habido peleas vecinales?, ¿Por qué está en venta?, ¿Cuándo se cambió por última vez la instalación eléctrica?…
No chequear ciertas cosas básicas (ni negociar por ellas)
Además de hacer preguntas, debes comprobar si la casa tiene algún tipo de desperfecto o si hay algo que no funciona bien. Una vez realizado el listado de elementos que no te convencen, negocia con el vendedor si se hará cargo de los arreglos o si prefiere que lo hagas tú a cambio de una rebaja en el precio (manchas de humedad, prueba de interruptores, Examina puertas y ventanas, etc).
No hablar con los vecinos
Nunca está de más que trates de charlar con los vecinos de la que podría ser tu futura casa. Esto te permitirá conocer detalles que no llegará a contarte el vendedor, chequear el perfil de quienes viven a tu alrededor, saber si quienes viven a tu alrededor son mayoritariamente propietarios (o arrendadores), conocer los defectos y virtudes de la zona con otra perspectiva, etc.
Olvidarte de si la casa tiene potencial para volver a venderla
En principio, una primera vivienda no debería ser mirada con ojos de inversor. En teoría, tu vivienda habitual debería estar pensada para vivir en ella a largo plazo y, si algún día decides venderla, lo normal sería que optaras por algo mejor. Por tanto, aunque su precio de venta suba, también lo habrá hecho el de la nueva casa a la que te quieras marchar.
Ahora bien, puedes dedicar un rato a analizar si tiene potencial para volver a venderla. En caso de que tus circunstancias económicas cambien drásticamente o que, por una urgencia o por cambios laborales te tengas que mudar, es importante comprobar si la vivienda se vendería bien: es decir, no solo si podrías recuperar tu inversión (y obtener algún beneficio) sino también si el inmueble se vendería rápido.
